Sinnhub.org is an interactive site, social network, and community for supporting, connecting and empowering social initiatives throughout the world.
We welcome individuals (“Participants”), eligible organizations, government, fund or universities (“Organizations”) that wish to seek support, connection, and empowerment by Sinnhub.
When not specified otherwise, all the mentioned above shall be collectively referred to as “Users”, “you” or “your”.
Sinnhub may, in its sole discretion, make changes to these Terms and Conditions, from time to time with or without notice to you. Each time changes are made to these Terms and Conditions, a revised version will be posted on this page. You can determine when the Terms and Conditions were last modified by checking the “Last updated” notice on the top of the Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of the Services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of any such changes. You can review and are encouraged to check, from time to time, the most current version of these Terms and Conditions. At all times, the latest version of these Terms and Conditions shall be binding and prevail over any other version.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Sinnhub immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Sinnhub will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Sinnhub or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the express permission of the account holder
Sinnhub grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free license to use the Sinnhub Content, solely for your personal use. You are prohibited from using, including, without limitation, copying or making any alteration of or derivative works based upon, the Sinnhub Content for any purpose other than your own personal use and at all times subject to these Terms and Conditions.
You further acknowledge and agree that you shall be solely responsible for any User Submission submitted by you and to the consequences of posting or publishing such User Submission, and you waive any “moral rights” in such User Submission. Without derogating from the foregoing, you understand and agree that it is solely your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your profile and submitted content and to update that information as appropriate.
You understand that when using the Services, you may be exposed to User Submission from a variety of sources, and that Sinnhub is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or intellectual property rights of, or relating to, such User Submission. You may be exposed to User Submission that are inaccurate, offensive, indecent or objectionable, and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you may have against Sinnhub with respect thereto.
Our staff receives a notice every time content is reported or “flagged” and that content may be immediately removed from the Site. We then determine whether the reported content does in fact violate our mission and purpose and/or these Terms and Conditions, and will take appropriate action to resolve the issue, the nature of such action depending on the particular circumstances at issue. Users who feel that their content has been removed in error may contact us at copyright @ sinnhub.org . Under certain conditions, we may, at our discretion (but under no obligation), restore deleted material, or contact the offending user to request changes, amendments or deletion of their “flagged” content.
You may request that Sinnhub delete any information or content that you have provided on the Site. However, Sinnhub has no control over information that had been shared by you with others.
Generally, and without limiting the details in the copyright policy, we reserve the right to remove Content alleged to be infringing without prior notice, at our sole discretion, and without liability to you. In appropriate circumstances, Sinnhug will also terminate a user’s account if the user is determined to be a repeat infringer. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice.
Sinnhub also reserves the right to withhold, remove and/or discard any content available as part of your account, with or without notice, if deemed by Sinnhub to be contrary to these Terms and Conditions. We have no obligation to store, maintain or provide you with a copy of any content that you or other Users provided when using the Site or its Services.
WITHOUT DEROGATING FROM THE FOREGOING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE BEFORE RELYING ON IT. ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE, INCLUDING INFORMATION RECEIVED THROUGH USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, SHOULD BE USED AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
Without derogating from the foregoing Users who publish personal information or information regarding their Organization on this Site understand the implications of publishing information publically including any potential misuse by people or organizations that are not affiliated with our Site. Sinnhub is not responsible for damages caused by inappropriate use of the information published by Users. As mentioned above, we can only remove information from the Site or limit a User’s privileges, but we are unable to take action beyond this Site.
For the sake of absolute clarity it is made explicitly clear that we are not responsible in any way whatsoever for the behavior of individuals or organizations both on and outside of the Site, whether in connection with their engagement pursuant to the Services or otherwise. Sinnhub does not endorse or promote any individual or organization and our responsibility is limited to providing a space to publish information and thus generate connections on the World Wide Web. Sinnhub will not be held liable in any manner for connections made available through the Site and any connections, engagements, activities and relationships formed through the Site are solely the responsibility of the users themselves.
Sinnhub is not involved in the relationship between users as well as in any terms, arrangements, understandings and agreements reached among users. Sinnhub is and shall not be a party to any dispute, grievance, dissatisfaction, damage or liability arising from the relationship between the users (“Disputes“) and you hereby agree to release Sinnhub from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in connection with such Disputes and/or otherwise arising out of or in connection with use of the Site and its Services.

sinnhug.org is operated by Latinomics Mexico AC, a non-profit organization (LME140123UP2) based in state of Veracruz, Mexico and with representation in Vienna, Austria.
We collect information when you visit our website, create an account, edit your account information, donate to a project, or send or use a gift card. Some of this information is technical information that is automatically logged by our servers.
Creating or Registering a sinnhub.org Account or program
When you create an account on our website, or register to our one of our programs offered we collect basic information about you – your name and email address. You can choose to provide additional information, such as your mailing address, a photo, favorite projects, etc.,
Making a Contribution
When you make an online contribution on sinnhub.org, we collect personal information such as your name, billing address, and email address, if you have not already provided these details. We collect information about your donation, including the project you are donating to and the amount of your donation. You may choose to provide the email address of friends that you ask us to notify about your use of the sinnhug.org website. We also collect (but do not retain) credit card numbers which are processed by a third-party payment vendor subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. If you use PayPal or a similar service, their use of your information is based on their terms of service and policies, not ours, so we encourage you to review those policies carefully.
Contests, Promotions, and Surveys
Periodically, Sinnhub may invite you to participate in contests, take advantage of special promotions, and complete online surveys. If you have created a Sinnhub account or profile, information we collect from these contests, promotions, and surveys may be associated with you personally.
Creating a Fundraiser or Registry
When you create a fundraiser or registry on Sinnhub, we collect information about projects you propose or wish to support. Sinnhub notifies the project leader when a fundraiser or registry is established for their project, but does not share your personal information with the project leader or the project. Remember, however, that anything you post on your fundraiser site will be seen by visitors to the site.
If you donate to a registry, fundraiser, or giving group, then we will also share your name and the date and amount of your donation with the person who created the registry, fundraiser, or group.
Like most websites, our servers automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our site, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your visit, the referring URL, and, if you have visited our Site before, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We also collect information about your activities on the site, such as the pages you access.

Disclosure of Personal Information
We will share your personal information with our agents, representatives, service providers and contractors in order to process your donations, offer you services in connection with our website, communicate news and information about Sinnhub, provide customer service, enhance and improve customers’ donor experiences, and complete financial transactions. These service providers are authorized to use your information only to the extent necessary to serve these purposes, or as otherwise authorized by this policy. Except for the purposes outlined herein, we will not trade, share, or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else. This policy applies to donor information collected by the Sinnhub through all channels, including online and offline donations.
Unless you ask us not to, we share your personal information under the following circumstances:
When you contribute to a project or program, we share your name and contact information and the amount of your donation with the project leader or organization
When you donate to a fundraiser, registry, or giving group, we share your name and the date and amount of your donation with the person who created the fundraiser, registry, or group.
When you make a donation that is part of a campaign sponsored by your employer, and/or when your employer is being asked to match your donation, we will share your name, email address and the amount of you donation with your employer.
Each time you make a donation, however, we will give you the opportunity to tell us not to share your personal information in the ways described above (except in the case of employer matched donations) by selecting to be “anonymous” during the checkout process.
Aside from the purposes described above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent, unless: (1) we need to respond to a subpoena, court order or legal process; (2) an emergency situation requires disclosure before your permission can be obtained (e.g., situations involving potential threats to personal safety), or; (3) we determine that disclosure is needed to protect our rights or property, or the rights or property of another person.
We may share aggregated demographic and statistical information with our other partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Information about Children Under 13
Sinnhub.org is a general audience website, and does not collect information about a visitor’s age. We do, from time to time, partner with other organizations to educate children about philanthropy in general and our work in particular. In those cases, we do not collect personal information from a visitor on pages specifically designed for children.
Viewing and Updating Your Information on sinnhub.org
You can access your account information at any time by going to the My Account page. You can make changes to your information and update your account at any time.
You can also unsubscribe from Sinnhub communications at any time by sending an unsubscribe email as described at the bottom of every Sinnhub communications, or by updating your subscriptions on the My Account page.
When you create an account or profile on sinnhub.org, you can decide whether to make some or all of that information public or private. You can change your choices at any time using the My Profile page. Please note, however, that your preferences do not affect the disclosures to project leaders, or fundraisers, or giving group leaders. So, for example, if you make a donation to a fundraiser, then we will display your name and date of your donation on the fundraiser regardless of your settings. Likewise, if you contribute to a project, we will share your name and contact information with the project leader. In each case we will give you the opportunity to tell us not to disclose your personal information with the project leader, or publish it on the web site or in our annual report.

Sinnhub understands the importance of keeping your information secure and confidential. We have implemented policies and procedures designed to help safeguard your information. When you make a donation, information about your credit card, Paypal account, or bank is transmitted using SSL.

1. All contributions made by the users of Sinnhub.org serve to guarantee the quality of the programs, provide the necessary services to its participants, and mainly to contribute to Sinnhub continuing to fulfill its social purpose.
2. You can contribute by Credit/Debit Card through Paypal or by Bank Transfer through Transferwise – you choose.
3. The total contribution amount to each program is specified in Euros or another currency that we set according to the destination and date of your program. This amount is published as a reference on the pages of each program, however the final amount of your contribution to the program will be the one that is indicated in your letter of acceptance to the program. Your contribution is valid for 1 year after payment. In case you do not participate in any of the programs offered to you, you will lose the right to participate.
4. If you have made any contribution to participate in a program, and you decide to change the date that is indicated in your letter of acceptance or change the destination of your program, you will need to request this change at least 45 days before starting day of the program to your coordinator in order to evaluate your acceptance to the new program/date and update your contribution amount. The updated contribution may decrease or increase; In case of increase, you will have to cover the difference in order to be able to participate in the program, in case of a decrease, Sinnhub will reimburse you the difference with a 20% (based on the difference) charge for registration and transfer fees.
5. You can cover the whole program contribution or your enrollment. In order to participate in the program, you must cover the entire program at least 40 days before the starting day, if you have not covered the entire program, Sinnhub will move your spot to the next available date, the 40 days limit to cover the entire program also applies with the new date.
6. You can save your spot (enrollment) with a minimum amount indicated in your letter of acceptance. This contribution is part of the total contribution of the program and serves to save your place. It is NOT an extra charge.
7. The contribution is NOT refundable, except:
A) If your visa application is rejected by the embassy.
B) In case the Sinnhub program is definitively canceled.
C) In case you change program or date as indicated in number 4 of these terms.
8. In all cases above, your Sinnhub coordinator will provide the option of another Sinnhub program in an available country, in the event that the participant opts for the reimbursement, 20% will be charged for registration and transfer fees.
9. The reimbursement mentioned is exclusively for the contribution of the program.
10. Air tickets (or any transportation) and/or international insurance are NOT refundable without exception.
